Why is it important for an engineer to know this piece of information? US customary system has fractions. Moreover SI measurements are only in power of tens while US customary system is not. Activity 9.1 Product Lifecycle Conclusion 1.       What is meant by product lifecycle ?  Product life-cycle is the process in which the object designed by engineer goes through. 2.       Why is it important for companies who make products to research and determine a product’s potential lifecycle?  This is important to determine the sources of material for product and to change the factory place in accordance with bulk-gaining or bulk-reducing industry.
