Activity 5.1 Calculating Properties of Shapes

Activity 5.1 Calculating Properties of Shapes

Conclusion
1.      What is the difference between a circle and an ellipse?
In the circle the center point is equidistant to the circumference while it's not for ellipse.

2.      What is the difference between an inscribed and a circumscribed shape?
Inscribed shape is inside circle while touching circumference of circle while circumscribed shape is outside of circle while touching circle's circumference.

3.      Why is it impossible for a triangle to contain a 180° angle?
Because a triangle need 3 angles and only can have total of 180 degrees. Hence an angle occupying all the degrees lead to only an angle instead of triangle.

4.      How is a rhombus similar to a square?

Rhombus and square both has 2 pairs of parallel sides, 4 sides,  and 4 angles.

5.      What is the difference between a right, acute, and obtuse triangle?
Acute triangle has angles under 90 degrees. Right triangle has 90 degress angle. Obtuse triangle has angle above 90 degrees.
